The Salvation Army is currently operating adjusted services outdoors, providing needed items to go and sharing up-to-date, healthcare guidelines and information with guests.
They ask that volunteers DO NOT participate if they are sick, display any symptoms of illness or have been around anyone who has. Additionally, we ask that volunteers DO NOT participate if they are concerned for their own health or identify as being a high-risk population.
This includes:
- Older Adults
People who have serious chronic conditions like:
- Heart Disease
- Lung Disease
- Diabetes
While participating, volunteers must also to adhere to adopted CDC guidelines and directions that include:
- No direct contact with others during greetings and transactions
- Frequent handwashing and glove changing
- No congregating in groups
