Chattanooga Area Food Bank

Due to the recent effects of the COVID-19 response, The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is in need of volunteer support.

The Chattanooga Area Food Bank volunteer needs include warehouse help, food sorting & packing. Please, find a volunteer shift that is convenient for you.

*Please be advised that due to “food and health safety requirements”, ALL volunteers are required to wear “closed-toe shoes” or will not be allowed to volunteer.*

NOTE: If you are at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19 because of your age or because you have a serious long-term health problem, we do NOT encourage you to volunteer. It is extra important for you to take actions to reduce your risk of getting sick with this disease. Please follow the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations for your own safety and that of the Food Bank staff. If you are sick, feel unwell, or have a temperature, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO VOLUNTEER! We cannot risk the health of our employees, volunteers or staff with exposure to the COVID-19
